The recovery of an old cinema hall located within ecclesiastical complex. The cinema hall was to be transformed into a multi-purpose hall, which was originally the sacristy of the Church (a building built in the 1200’s and later restored), whereas the reception area of the former cinema was realised in the fifties with forms and materials typical of that period. They wanted to clean the oldest part restoring its dignity and splendour, while maintaining the memory and the taste of the sixties and its previous function as that of an entrance. It created a fascinating journey, which did not want to hide the legacy of the past, on the contrary it melts and enhances them balancing forms and conceptualises them into a new interpretation.
